First stop: the art museums. In Whistler Village, you can find Audain Art Museum. This has an impressive collection of art that focuses mostly on indigenous culture and historical pieces. There are also some contemporary pieces made by Canadian artists so it should provide you with a lot of interesting pieces to look at.

Check out Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre as well. This cultural center houses an Art gallery in Whistler that also centers on indigenous culture.

2. Check out the public art installations

Once you are done visiting a Whistler art gallery, you can check out the interesting art installations on the streets. There are a lot of sculptures and murals that you can check out. These murals are also made by locals. One good example is the Intraterrestrial sculpture made by James Stewart.
